What is JourneyBound?
It has been nine months for the middle-aged Arrow Squall since the passing of his life partner and mentor, Clifford Ryder. Traveling with a sense of emptiness, he received word that his best friend from college, Ashe Radiant, sought his presence in a village to the White North, where he and his new family now reside.
After unwittingly falling in love with Aurelia, a member of Ashe’s polycule during his visit, he is encouraged by his best friend to take her alongside him on his travels as something of a protector and bodyguard-- after all, Aurelia has always wanted to see the World. With trepidation he accepts.

They now travel together; but can Squall stall the intensity of his feelings? No. The answer is no. Look forward to release to see just how bad he is at it!

With a lazy slouch and a strangely casual slur in his inflection, Squall is an ordinarily energetic and impulsive sort– currently grieving the loss of his former life partner Clif.
A powerful storm elemental with the ability to harness wind and lightning, he is also adept with a blade and has practiced his martial ability for over 20 years. Scrappy, smug, and rather perverted, Squall is at heart a protector of the weak and disdains causing actual harm, to the point where he will sometimes be prone to social anxiety.
Aurelia

A soft spoken and shy woman– an estranged royal from an Oceanic Monarchy now fallen and lost to time. With a traumatizing dark past and a weak constitution, she is seemingly slow to open up to most people-- but has a curious and warm heart that seeks knowledge, exploration, and companionship beyond the isolating World she used to know. Currently a partner to Ashe Radiant, Squall's best friend.

A loud and affectionate ball of muscle and fluff– fiercely loyal and protective of his family and friends. He loves unconditionally, and it seems that he can’t help but positively touch the lives of all those he meets. He is rebuilding the long lost village of his husband Samui, along with his daughter Yukiko and girlfriend Aurelia. Squall’s best friend.
